Surfboards & Fins

I started shaping and glassing surfboards in 2011 after suffering a knee injury that kept me out of the water for six months. In that time, I sought out mentors in Santa Cruz, California, and in both Jaffa and Haifa, Israel. Each mentor generously provided me with precious insights on boardbuilding.

Since then, I have built over 300 surfboards, which makes me a total kook beginner. They say that anything under 1,000 is pathetic, and they might be right. But from the moment I caught my first wave on a board I had made from beginning to end, I was hooked. It’s a craft that I will love for a lifetime.
